Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a Business Development Representative to provide pre-sales support and engage with prospects. This role is ideal for those starting their career in sales or transitioning into the SaaS industry.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a dynamic individual eager to start your career in sales or transition into the SaaS industry. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable engaging with prospects to set the tone for the sales cycle. Your ability to collaborate with various teams, including Commercial Sales, Account Executives, and Customer Success, will be essential in developing account knowledge and relationship maps. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing company and help expand its brand across the Asia-Pacific region.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be one of the first touchpoints for prospects, providing pre-sales support and setting the stage for the sales cycle. You will partner with the Commercial Sales teams to develop insights into accounts and identify use case opportunities through direct engagement. Your responsibilities will include conducting research to understand customer needs and working closely with other teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospects. You will play a crucial role in building relationships and driving the growth of Smartsheet in the APJ region.
