Axon is seeking a Vice President of Sales Engineering to lead a global team of technical sales professionals. You'll design and execute a pre-sales strategy to ensure customer success with Axon's innovative products. This role requires strong leadership and strategic alignment with business objectives.
You have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales engineering teams, with at least 10 years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, enabling your team to excel in delivering technical solutions that meet customer needs. You possess a deep understanding of technology and its application in public safety and enterprise sectors, allowing you to effectively bridge the gap between technical capabilities and customer requirements. You are skilled in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner is one of your key strengths, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in the public safety sector or with AI solutions is a plus. Familiarity with cloud software and hardware integration will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in sales strategy development and execution will be beneficial as you lead your team to success.
As the Vice President of Sales Engineering, you will lead Axon’s global team of technical sales professionals, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional pre-sales support. You will design and implement a world-class pre-sales strategy that aligns with Axon’s business objectives, focusing on customer success and innovation. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure that technical solutions are effectively communicated and understood by customers. You will define standardized processes for technical discovery, solution design, and proposal development, ensuring consistency and excellence across the organization. Additionally, you will be responsible for scaling the Sales Engineering organization, driving technical excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
