Revenue Accountant

How You’ll Support Our Mission 

ESO is seeking an accounting professional to participate in the month-end closing process and help build a best-in-class function. The Revenue Accountant will help certify the accurate and timely execution of the closing processes.   A highly organized individual and can prioritize among diverse and competing tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.  

Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be part of our Accounting and Finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing - the day to day 

• Post monthly revenue within accounting system to align with ASC 606 

• Prepare monthly reconciliations and variance analysis of relevant balance sheet and P&L accounts 

• Assist with process improvement of accounting processes 

• Review contracts and identify accounting impact to align with ASC 606 

• Provide deliverables to support annual external audit 

• Provide support in other accounting ad-hoc projects 

Who You Are - the essentials  

• Experience in the accounting close and monthly reporting processes 

• Advanced knowledge of Excel 

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting 

• 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting position 

• Passion for teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility 

• Acute attention to detail 

• Outstanding communication skills – including written and verbal communications, interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills (C1 English level is preferred) 

• Ability to juggle multiple high priorities and have a willingness to learn 

Who You Are - the desirables 

• ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition Experience 

• SaaS experience 

• Experience with NetSuite 

• CPA or chartered accountant 

• Experience with Salesforce/ Vendori
