You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you are ready to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English. You are excited about using state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and are motivated by the opportunity to develop your skills through training programs offered by Carvana. You understand the importance of attention to detail in prepping vehicles for paint and are dedicated to maintaining high standards in your work.
In this role, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure that each vehicle meets Carvana's quality standards before it is painted. Your role is crucial in the vehicle repair process, and you will be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
You will receive training to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair, allowing you to progress in your career as you gain experience. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ASE and tool reimbursement programs, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment programs, which are designed to support your professional development.
