Dropbox is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to partner with product, engineering, and design teams to drive impact in AI and user experience. You'll leverage analytics techniques to improve user engagement and business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in consumer behavior analysis.
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in analytics and a deep understanding of user behaviors. Your expertise in consumer lifecycle and behavior analysis allows you to derive actionable insights that influence product decisions. You are skilled in statistical packages, particularly Python, and have a solid grasp of SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to tackle complex problems. Your ability to frame narratives and present data-driven recommendations helps you advocate for new solutions and drive business impact. You are comfortable designing and executing experiments to validate hypotheses and inform future product roadmaps.
Your experience in a SaaS company has equipped you with the knowledge to create personalized segmentation strategies using propensity models. You understand the importance of targeting offers based on user attributes and can identify key trends that inform product development.
A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science is preferred. Familiarity with product analytics in a SaaS context will give you an edge in this role.
As a Senior Data Scientist at Dropbox, you will perform analytical deep-dives to uncover insights that drive product improvements. You will design and execute experiments to analyze user engagement behavior, helping to inform future experimentation design and roadmaps. Your role will involve creating automated reporting and executive-facing dashboards to track acquisition, monetization, and engagement trends.
You will identify opportunities for new solutions and advocate for them across teams, ensuring that your recommendations are grounded in data.
