SoFi is seeking a Staff Internal Auditor, Data Analyst to lead the development of the Internal Audit data analytics function. You'll work with SQL and data analytics to support audit activities and improve operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in data management.
You have a strong background in data analytics and internal auditing, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You are skilled in SQL and have a deep understanding of data management principles. You excel at identifying and implementing data analytics routines that enhance audit processes and improve operational efficiency. You are proactive in establishing connections with key data owners and have experience in building metadata frameworks to support analytics. You are a creative thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and can work collaboratively within a team.
Experience with data visualization tools and familiarity with audit processes are a plus. You have a keen interest in the financial services industry and are motivated to contribute to a company that is transforming personal finance.
In this role, you will lead the development of the data analytics function within the Internal Audit Department at SoFi. You will identify, design, implement, and maintain data analytics routines that support audit activities, including audit execution and continuous auditing. You will collaborate with engagement teams to provide insights that enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency. You will also assist in special projects as needed, contributing to the overall improvement of the Internal Audit function. You will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards that communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
