Job Description

Amazon Transportation team is looking for a Capacity Specialist to join the Transportation Tactical Management (TTM) team in São Paulo - SP.

As Transportation Capacity Specialist you will work across all transportation miles (First Mile, Middle Mile Ground and Air, Last Mile, 3P carriers) to optimize network capacity. You’ll ensure sufficient flexibility to handle forecast variations while avoiding excess capacity and potential shortages. Working closely with Transportation Capacity Planning teams, this role coordinates with stakeholders to maintain reliable customer service levels through effective capacity management.

We're seeking candidates with experience in transportation or logistics operations who excel in quality-driven, customer-focused environments. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and can effectively navigate ambiguous situations while delivering results. Experience in capacity planning, network optimization, or similar operational roles is essential.

Key job responsibilities
* Analyzes demand forecasts and capacity plans to identify potential gaps or imbalances between supply and demand;
* Monitor planning metrics, compare actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), identify gaps, conduct in-depth analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to address them;
* Creates and maintains detailed capacity tracking tools and dashboards to monitor network performance;
* Collaborates with Operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the transportation network;
* Develops standardized processes and best practices for capacity planning across different transportation modes;
* Regularly communicates through regular check-in calls with and coordinates with Capacity Planning Managers in all transportation miles to understand current and projected capacity levels;
* Analyze and improve network forecast accuracy in partnership with Supply Chain teams to meet best results;
* Ensure right business metrics are prepared for and participate in regular Operations calls, business meetings.- Bachelor's degree;
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level;
- Advanced English.- Logistics Working Experience
- Experience with SQL
