Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure - CDN & Storage

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in infrastructure and cloud services. Your background includes optimizing cloud storage and CDN solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability for end users. You are proficient in AWS and have experience with cost optimization strategies in cloud environments. Your technical skills extend to containerization technologies like Docker, and you are comfortable working in Linux environments. You understand the importance of scalability and have a track record of implementing solutions that support rapid growth during peak usage times.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join Aura's infrastructure engineering team to migrate storage and CDN usage to alternative services without compromising performance or reliability. You will analyze current usage patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining the quality of service. Your responsibilities will include optimizing cloud storage solutions and ensuring that the infrastructure can handle increased traffic, especially during peak times like holidays.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to implement best practices for cloud resource management and contribute to the overall architecture of the infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the user experience by ensuring that photos and videos are delivered seamlessly to users' digital frames. You will also be involved in analyzing traffic data to optimize performance and scalability, making recommendations for improvements based on your findings.
