Product Manager, Google Compute Engine

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 3 years of experience working with product and engineering executives across the organization. Ideally, you possess 5 years of experience in a business function or role such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting. Your background includes product management experience where you've defined product direction based on company priorities, market insights, and customer needs. You excel in collaborating and driving alignment across multiple, cross-functional, globally dispersed teams, and have experience working with Business-to-Business (B2B) customers and managing internal stakeholders. You have the ability to automate and make infrastructure operate on behalf of the customer, ensuring applications run in a reliable, performant, secure, scalable, and cost-effective manner. As a key contact in the product area, you will engage with field, support, and Site Reliability Engineering teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development. Your work will involve collaborating with users representing some of the world's largest customers, both external and internal, to develop product requirements. You will work closely with engineering teams to prioritize and launch core functionality in Google Compute Engine (GCE). Additionally, you will integrate AI solutions to simplify infrastructure usage, following Google's best practices. Your contributions will directly impact the way Google Cloud solutions are designed and developed, ensuring they meet the needs of millions of users every day.
