Apple is hiring a Senior iOS/macOS Engineer to contribute to the Apple Business Essentials and Schoolwork apps. You'll work with Swift and other frameworks to enhance user experiences for business and educational services. This position requires 5+ years of software development experience.
You have 5+ years of experience developing and shipping software, with a strong foundation in software and systems design and architecture. Your expertise in iOS and macOS development allows you to create impactful applications that enhance user experiences. You are skilled in Swift and have a deep understanding of the Apple ecosystem, enabling you to contribute effectively to projects that serve both business and educational needs.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You are dedicated to continuous learning and growth, always seeking to improve your skills and the products you work on.
Experience with frameworks such as ClassKit and familiarity with Managed Apple Accounts will be advantageous. A background in developing applications for educational or enterprise environments is a plus, as is a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces that solve real-world problems.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of the Apple Business Essentials app, which simplifies the management of Apple devices for small businesses. You will also work on the Schoolwork app, enhancing its features to support teachers and students in their educational workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and ensuring the applications meet the highest standards of performance and usability.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver solutions that address user needs.
