Job Description

Who you are

You have a solid background in security engineering with a focus on risk management — your experience includes performing risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies that align with business goals. You possess strong consulting and communication skills, enabling you to effectively partner with various teams across the organization. Your technical acumen is complemented by familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices, allowing you to navigate complex risk challenges with ease.

You are comfortable leveraging AI tools, such as LLMs, to automate workflows and improve efficiency — your familiarity with command-line interfaces (CLIs) enhances your ability to streamline processes. You have a proactive approach to managing risk registers, ensuring that risks are tracked and resolved in a timely manner. Your analytical mindset helps you document findings clearly and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security and familiarity with AWS services is a plus — you understand the nuances of securing cloud environments and can implement best practices. Knowledge of security tools like Burp Suite and OWASP guidelines will further enhance your contributions to the team. You are eager to stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the security landscape, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform and support comprehensive risk assessments, documenting your findings and collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective mitigation strategies. You will manage the risk register queue, ensuring that all identified risks are understood, tracked, and resolved according to business priorities. Your consulting skills will be put to use as you work closely with engineering and product teams to design and implement practical solutions to various risk challenges.

You will leverage AI tools to automate workflows, enhancing the efficiency of risk management processes. Your responsibilities will include managing reports, dashboards, and other tracking mechanisms to provide an accurate and predictable view of risk across the organization. You will play a key role in scaling Datadog’s risk management approach, delivering high-impact results that align with the company's mission to build the best platform for engineers.

What we offer
