About the Role
WebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for the Jr. Website Planning Specialist role. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (or will soon have one!), a history of strong academic performance, and is interested in a career involving project management, client consulting, and web technology. Related skills and experience are encouraged, but never required - comprehensive training is provided!
The Job Responsibilities: Your Day-to-Day
Plan and Manage Website Design Projects
(About 45% of your day)
-Create and outline specifications for website build projects, integrating UX best practices
-Organize and manage project timelines, and communicate schedules to internal team members
-Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client goals
-Troubleshoot issues as they arise, using clear communication and creative problem-solving
-Manage multiple projects and deadlines using strong organization and time management skills
Communicate With Clients
(About 35% of your day)
-Serve as the direct point of contact for clients, asking strategic questions to understand their goals and needs, and recommending best practices accordingly
-Contribute to our high client satisfaction rate by providing proactive support and building relationships based on trust and rapport
Test and Evaluate Website Performance
(About 20% of your day)
-Perform quality assurance testing during website builds and launches
-Evaluate website performance, functionality, and user experience to ensure standards are met
The Qualifications: Who You Are
Education:
-A Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome!
-GPA: 3.4 or above
(Upcoming grads are encouraged to apply - we interview and hire up to a year in advance!)
Suggested Experience and Skills:
-Prior part-time/summer job/internship experience (can be in any field)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Customer service experience (in any industry)
-Presentation skills
-Digital marketing experience (a bonus!)
-Project management experience (a bonus!)
Tools/Technical Skills:
(Not required, but awesome to have!)
-Excel/Google Suite
-Basic HTML/CSS or UX experience

Compensation
$47,000 -$50,000 (potentially higher based on work experience)
