Senior Manager, Information Security

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in information security, with a strong background in managing security teams and developing security strategies. Your technical depth allows you to understand complex security challenges and collaborate effectively with engineering teams. You are well-versed in vulnerability management, application security, and cloud infrastructure security, and you have a proven track record of enhancing security postures in fast-paced environments. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, ensuring that security measures align with business objectives while maintaining high developer velocity. You are passionate about building authentic customer relationships through secure and reliable technology.

Desirable

Experience with security operations and incident response is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations. Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and detection mechanisms will further enhance your candidacy. You are proactive in staying updated with the latest security trends and threats, and you are eager to implement best practices within your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the vision and strategy for security across Attentive’s products and infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers and security analysts, guiding them in their efforts to manage vulnerabilities and enhance application security. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to develop a roadmap that strengthens security while enabling high developer velocity. Your responsibilities will include overseeing security operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing effective detection and response strategies. You will also be involved in mentoring your team, fostering a culture of security awareness, and driving initiatives that promote best practices in security. Your hands-on approach will allow you to engage directly with technical challenges, ensuring that security measures are integrated seamlessly into the development process. You will play a critical role in protecting customer data and maintaining trust in Attentive’s services.
