The SAP MM/WM consultant will be responsible for design, configure and testing of core SAP MM/WM modules. This will include troubleshooting, investigate, analyses and solving MM related issues and the key integration points of all SAP modules with MM and WM module.
Responsibilities:
• Gather the functional requirements from customers and on-site counterpart
• Ability to provide prescriptive SAP Solutions on SAP MM and WM,
• Ability to work as on-site and offshore model
• Actively work with cross functional modules
• Write and maintain Business process documentation
• Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation.
Qualifications:
• Candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in SAP MM/WM.
• Should have good knowledge of SAP MM processes and strong knowledge on WM processes.
• Should have strong domain knowledge.
• Should have good communication skills
• Should have process orientation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Should have experience in design, configuration and testing of core MM modules e.g:
a. SAP MM-MD - Master Data
b. SAP MM-PUR – Purchasing (Various types of procurements)
c. SAP MM-IM - Inventory Management
d. SAP MM-WM - Warehouse Management
e. SAP MM-IV - Invoice Verification
f. SAP MM-CBP - Consumption Based Planning
g. SAP MM-EDI - Electronic Data Interchange
h. SAP MRP - Materials Requirement Planning
i. SAP WM - WM processes
• Experience on Ariba is a big plus
• Strong Support experience, very good in documentation and providing turn key solutions using SAP functionality
• Experience and knowledge of key integration points with MM modules
• Experience in troubleshooting, investigates, analyses and solved MM related issues
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework and support Processes (Incident, Change, Problem)
• Knowledge of working with any standard Ticketing tool
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and Client teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Can conceptualize and communicate Business relevant solutions
• Bright, ability to rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions and business areas
• Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours and travel globally on occasion
• Ability to work under own initiative and under tight time pressures - planning, prioritizing and controlling own workload
• Experience of working in support project with onsite offshore model
