Get to know our team:  

We, as FOE, are custodians of process and operational excellence at Agoda Finance. We ensure that processes are streamlined, manual tasks are eliminated and controls mitigated, to ensure uninterrupted and highly accurate operational output with minimum wastage. We typically coordinate with multiple departments - Product, IT, Fintech etc. to get the job done.

The opportunity: 

As an intern in FOE, you will be at the forefront of streamlining how we operate our processes in Finance. You will play a key role in being custodians of process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing best-in-class solutions, and supporting our journey towards building a world-class finance operations center.

In this role, you'll get to: 

  • Document and Design Process Flows: Collaborate with various teams to map, document, and visualize business processes. Ensure all process flows are clear, detailed, and adhere to company standards.
  • Maintain and Streamline Process Repository: Organize and manage the central repository of process documents, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, easily accessible, and properly version-controlled.
  • Identify and Propose Process Improvements: Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks. Gather feedback from stakeholders, participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute creative solutions to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Perform Data Analysis for Actionable Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze relevant data sets to uncover trends and root causes of process issues. Use data visualization tools to present findings and support recommendations for process improvements.
  • Prepare Executive-Level Presentations: Develop clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations and reports to communicate analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership. Support the preparation of materials for meetings, workshops, and decision-making sessions.

 

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period.
  • Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Formulas and functions
  • Great English communication skills in both spoken and written forms
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical acumen
  • Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment

It's great if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in business and management (Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, and others)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Macros, or VBA programming for automation
