SDE2 - Senior Software Engineer

Who you are

You have 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development. You have at least 1 year of experience being a module or project lead, demonstrating your ability to guide projects to success. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang is essential, as is a strong understanding of database systems, including relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL options like MongoDB and Cassandra. You possess hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS, which is crucial for building robust systems. Your experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, showcases your ability to work in modern development environments. You have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems, and your excellent problem-solving skills allow you to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively in a team setting.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud services or advanced database technologies would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
