Engineering Manager

The Tech Center in Brazil is expanding and the teams of Core Services, Delivery and Mobility are on the look for Engineering Managers to develop and grow their teams. All of our local teams work globally to develop features that impact millions of users worldwide as well as platform teams that support those engineering processes. In case you are interested in learning more about our teams and structures, click [here.](https://www.uber.com/pt-BR/newsroom/uber-abre-200-novas-vagas-para-centro-de-tecnologia-no-brasil/) **What the Candidate Will Do** - Manage, coach, and grow members of their team. - Define and execute on an ambitious product roadmap - Lay out the technical vision for your area - Develop and lead through the senior engineers on the team - Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Design, and other partners **Basic Qualifications** - Proven track record of coaching and growing engineers. - 4+ years of engineering management experience - 7+ years experience in engineering - Ability to execute and drive product roadmap - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Managed teams sized 5 - 10 people **Bonus points if** - Experience working at large companies (10k+) - Experience with international stakeholders Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
