Who you are

You have hands-on knowledge of both MySQL and InnoDB, allowing you to navigate complex database environments with ease. Your skills with the MySQL ecosystem of tools and technologies enable you to optimize performance and ensure reliability. You are knowledgeable about performance tuning, query optimization, and index tuning, which are critical for maintaining high-performance databases. You understand backup solutions such as Xtrabackup and mydumper, and you are familiar with Point-in-Time-Recovery processes. Your experience includes working with High Availability solutions, including replication and proxies, which are essential for minimizing downtime. You have exposure to zero-downtime procedures, ensuring that database operations can continue seamlessly during maintenance or upgrades.

What you'll do

As a MySQL Database Engineer at Percona, you will be part of a global team dedicated to solving interesting and complex database challenges. You will work closely with senior personnel who will assist you in developing your skills and becoming proficient in database management. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving database performance issues, collaborating with clients to understand their business needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their database infrastructures.
