You have 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, particularly with a focus on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platforms. Your background includes designing and implementing systems that drive asset intelligence and application dependency mapping. You understand the importance of data accuracy and integrity, especially concerning financial and hardware assets. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and finance teams to ensure system reliability and resilience.

You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to support outage and incident analysis effectively. You have experience establishing relationships between applications and infrastructure components, providing clear visibility into system dependencies and reliability risks. Your communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on system performance and reliability.

Desirable

Experience with Atlassian Jira and its integrations with asset management, incident, and change management systems is a plus. Familiarity with IT asset management practices and financial accountability in IT systems will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, implement, and manage the CMDB platform in Atlassian Jira, ensuring seamless integration with asset management, incident, and change management systems. You will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all configuration items (CIs). Your work will involve establishing relationships between applications, infrastructure components, and services to provide visibility into system dependencies and reliability risks.

You will support outage and incident analysis by linking tickets to impacted assets and application stacks, helping to drive insights that improve system performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of strategies that enhance the reliability and resilience of critical systems across SpaceX. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the foundation of our enterprise systems strategy, ensuring that our IT assets are managed effectively and efficiently.
