Samsara is hiring a Senior Full-Stack ML Engineer (Tech Lead) to spearhead the design and development of products based on vehicle telematics data. You'll work with technologies like Python, JavaScript, and AWS to build scalable solutions. This role requires significant experience in machine learning and full-stack development.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development and machine learning. Your expertise in Python and JavaScript allows you to build robust applications that process large datasets efficiently. You have a solid understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and are comfortable working with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Your experience with frameworks like Flask and React enables you to create seamless user experiences while managing complex backend systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, leading technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and improve operational efficiency.
Experience with vehicle telematics or IoT applications is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization tools. You are also encouraged to bring your knowledge of machine learning frameworks to enhance product capabilities.
