Who you are

You are pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or a related technical field — your academic background has equipped you with strong object-oriented software design and development skills. You have a solid understanding of software engineering principles and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. Your proficiency in at least one programming language, particularly Python, positions you well for this role. You are passionate about user privacy and are motivated to contribute to innovative solutions that protect it. Desirable

What you'll do

As an intern on the Privacy Preserving Measurements and Machine Learning team, you will design and implement features that extract crucial insights from vast amounts of data while ensuring user privacy is maintained. You will work on building frameworks and algorithms that leverage cutting-edge technology across the technical stack. Your role will involve prototyping privacy-preserving algorithms and benchmarking solutions to demonstrate their efficiency and scalability. You will collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to ensure that user data privacy is integrated into every feature that is shipped. You will contribute to prototypes, experiments, or internal tools that support privacy-preserving machine learning and analytics. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing designs and code from your peers, providing constructive feedback, and continuously learning from the team.
