Data Science Manager I

Who you are

Desirable

Experience in Trust & Safety or similar domains is a plus, as is familiarity with adversarial problem-solving at scale. You are comfortable working in a high-visibility role that impacts multiple product areas and are passionate about creating a safe user experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will protect users on Pinterest from bad actors and problematic trends by analyzing data and creating strong signals and strategies. You will coach and evaluate individual data scientists, guiding them in scoping projects that support team-level objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the team meets its goals and delivers impactful results.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to define shared goals and clarify ownership, ensuring that everyone is aligned on priorities. Supporting team management initiatives such as regular business reviews and individual career development will be part of your responsibilities, helping to create a culture of growth and accountability.
