Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.
As an Engineering Operations Technician, you are a critical guardian of technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations that power global digital experiences. You have hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting, and you are familiar with maintaining and operating mission-critical facilities. Your expertise contributes directly to maintaining an extraordinary 99.999% uptime, keeping the digital world running smoothly and efficiently.
You possess a strong understanding of three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and wet cell batteries. You are also knowledgeable about stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, as well as cooling systems such as centrifugal chillers and cooling towers. Your background in electrical and mechanical engineering equips you with the skills necessary to tackle complex challenges in data center operations.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers.
