Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manger to be key member in our AWS Sales and Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon in a newly created role. This Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for business partnering, decision support, financial modeling, and controllership. This person will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization. Primary responsibilities include:
- Track productivity measurements for sales team functions
- Develop new mechanisms with a focus on deal controllership
- Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investment
- Provide partnership to field business leaders and sales organization
- Lead short-and long-term financial planning
- Present financial summary and business insights to senior management- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- 7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 7+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 7+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 7+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
