Software Engineer II - Data Platform

Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable data services and products. Your background includes working with distributed systems, and you have a solid understanding of data platforms and analytics. You are proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, and you have experience with cloud services like AWS. You are familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, which you have used to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment. You understand database management and have worked with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL. You are comfortable designing and implementing REST APIs, ensuring they are efficient and secure. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer II on the Data Platform team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-volume, low-latency data services that support Okta's core products.
