Senior Software Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in software engineering with proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go, C++, Rust, or Java. Your experience includes building production systems and a deep understanding of data preprocessing, database design, and data analysis. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. Your fluency in English allows you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

You are customer-centric and enjoy collaborating with senior leaders, engineers, and product management to drive innovation. You have a passion for AI technologies and are eager to experiment with and deploy LLM-powered features. Your ability to architect and advocate for infrastructure that supports AI applications is a key asset.

Desirable

Experience with AI-related architecture and LLM Ops strategies is a plus. Familiarity with vector databases and managing data models for efficient AI representation will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Monitoring & Alerting team, you will play a pivotal role in developing StoryAI Opportunities, an AI agent designed to provide actionable insights for customers. You will lead the implementation of AI-related architecture and collaborate closely with design and product management to ensure that AI features meet customer needs effectively. Your responsibilities will include researching and experimenting with new AI technologies, deploying features that leverage large language models, and developing backend systems that support these innovations.

You will work on managing data models and optimizing database interactions to ensure efficient parsing and representation of data for AI applications. Your role will involve direct interaction with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, allowing you to influence the direction of AI initiatives within the company. You will also be responsible for advocating for best practices in AI development and ensuring that the infrastructure is robust and scalable.
