Google is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Hanoi to lead complex engineering projects in automation. You'll leverage your expertise in robotics and electronics while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong background in mechatronics and project management.
You hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, robotics, or possess equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in developing mechatronic processes or products, you have a solid foundation in the field. Your background includes 2 years of program management experience, showcasing your ability to lead projects effectively. Ideally, you have 7 years of experience in developing mechatronic processes or products, which gives you a deep understanding of the complexities involved. You are familiar with high-precision consumer electronics and have experience with robotic manipulation devices, systems, and material handling systems. Your expertise extends to developing and validating production processes or fixed details, and you are proficient in using CAD systems and tolerance analysis.
In your role as a Senior Program Manager at Google, you will apply your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, identify risks, manage project timelines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners within the company. You will confidently articulate analysis points and team recommendations to leadership while discussing technical trade-offs with engineers during product development. You will be involved with the Product Development team in the design, manufacturing, and market launch of wearable devices that enhance automation. Your responsibilities will include creating specifications for functional requirements for precise electronic assembly operations such as automated dispensing, sealing, screwing, cleaning, transporting, and other activities. You will design automation solutions and development processes in collaboration with manufacturing and automation partners. Additionally, you will build automation implementation schedules and oversee acceptance activities at factories and sites.
