Material Transfer Driver (Starbase)

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of driving experience. You are familiar with material handling and have experience with stake bed driving, preferably under 26k GVW. You have a background in operating forklifts and material handling motorized vehicles and equipment, and you understand the importance of safety and organization in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

As a Material Transfer Driver at SpaceX, you will be responsible for loading, driving, and unloading manufacturing, test, and support items within a 2.5-mile radius of the SpaceX campus. You will ensure that all truckloads are securely loaded and transported to their destinations while adhering to road safety rules. You will also be tasked with scanning barcodes to meet business WMS requirements and reviewing documentation to confirm the correct items are delivered to the precise delivery area. Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and monitoring service records will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as reporting any vehicle issues to your manager immediately.
