Suger.io is hiring a Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) to guide prospects through a consultative buying experience. You'll leverage your skills in API and B2B sales to showcase how Suger accelerates marketplace revenue. This role requires experience in consultative selling and solution architecture.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly in a pre-sales capacity, where you've successfully guided prospects through complex buying processes. Your consultative selling skills allow you to uncover customer pain points and align solutions that demonstrate clear ROI. You are adept at crafting compelling demos and designing solution architectures that resonate with potential clients. Your experience in B2B environments has equipped you with the knowledge to navigate the unique challenges of marketplace sales, particularly in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba. You thrive in collaborative settings, working cross-functionally to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded. You are passionate about technology and its ability to transform business processes, and you enjoy being a trusted advisor to your clients.

Desirable

Experience with API-first approaches and a solid understanding of quote-to-cash and billing processes would be advantageous. Familiarity with the cloud marketplace landscape and the ability to prototype integrations will set you apart. A background in working with B2B customers, especially in a startup environment, is a plus.
