Databricks is seeking a Lead Sales Development Manager to drive pipeline generation and coach a team of Business Development Representatives. You'll collaborate with sales and marketing teams and utilize Salesforce and Outreach to optimize performance.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 2 years of experience as an Outbound Sales Development Manager in the SaaS industry, demonstrating a strong ability to lead and develop sales teams. Your background includes managing outbound pipeline generation motions, and you have a passion for coaching and developing talent in early-stage sales professionals. You are highly data-driven, constantly optimizing activities and outputs to ensure success. Your expertise with Salesforce and Outreach allows you to effectively track and manage sales development efforts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the sales leadership team at Databricks, leading the recruiting efforts for Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and developing strategies for pipeline generation. You will coach and mentor your team, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles. Collaborating closely with Sales, Demand Generation, and Marketing leadership, you will provide constructive input to develop new campaigns and ensure the success of existing ones. Building strong relationships with various Sales segments will be crucial to maximizing the effectiveness of sales development initiatives. You will also play a vital role in creating a positive work environment where team members feel enthusiastic and motivated.
