Overview

Axon is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Operations to lead and optimize global sales transactions within the Quote-to-Cash cycle. This role requires a customer-centric mindset and strong leadership skills to enhance the deal lifecycle experience.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in commercial operations, ideally with a focus on sales transactions and the Quote-to-Cash cycle. Your leadership skills enable you to drive process simplification and operational rigor, ensuring that your teams deliver exceptional customer experiences. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, and Customer Success to shape deal governance and pricing execution. Your customer-centric mindset allows you to act as a trusted partner, understanding unique customer and industry requirements to drive policy development and process design.

You are adept at managing teams and fostering a culture of excellence. Your strategic leadership will empower your teams to optimize the deal lifecycle, ensuring that every contract and quote meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You understand the importance of operational rigor and are committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of commercial operations.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or software company is a plus, as is familiarity with the public safety sector. You may also have a background in sales enablement or revenue operations, which will enhance your ability to lead the Deal Enablement and Quoting functions effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the global Commercial Operations team, focusing on optimizing sales transactions and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will oversee the Deal Enablement and Quoting functions, ensuring that your teams are equipped to deliver exceptional service throughout the contract and quote lifecycle. Your strategic vision will guide the development of policies and processes that simplify operations and improve efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape deal governance and pricing execution, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your leadership will drive a culture of excellence within your teams, empowering them to take ownership of their work and deliver results that exceed expectations.

You will also be responsible for monitoring industry trends and customer feedback, using this information to inform your strategies and drive continuous improvement. Your ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for optimization will be critical to your success in this role.
