Copilot Money is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee all financial responsibilities, including strategic planning and execution. This role requires strong leadership and financial expertise, based in New York City with a hybrid work model.
You have a strong background in finance, with extensive experience in financial strategy, planning, and execution. You understand the nuances of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and you have a proven track record of leading financial operations in a startup environment. You are a strategic thinker who can partner effectively with the leadership team to drive the company's financial goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working closely with various stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to make informed decisions that impact the company's financial health. You are passionate about helping others understand and manage their finances, aligning with Copilot Money's mission to empower users.
In this role, you will own Copilot Money's financial strategy and execution, leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting, developing financial models that support the company's growth objectives. You will collaborate with the CEO and the leadership team to create a scalable finance function that aligns with the company's mission. You will be responsible for building and managing a finance team that can support the company's operations and strategic initiatives. You will also oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives. Additionally, you will analyze financial data to provide insights that drive decision-making and improve financial performance.
