Your ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues is complemented by your hands-on experience with tools and equipment. You understand the importance of preventive maintenance and are dedicated to keeping equipment in optimal condition.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on critical and auxiliary machinery associated with pellet manufacturing. You will assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes while assisting in the repair, installation, and maintenance of various equipment and parts. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and other pellet mill-specific equipment. You will work with a variety of machines and tools, including hand and power tools, drill presses, saws, and welding machines, to carry out maintenance and repair tasks. You will also perform and document required inspections of equipment, ensuring that all machinery is maintained in good condition. Analyzing equipment performance and making necessary adjustments will be part of your responsibilities, as will driving continuous improvement in lubrication and preventive maintenance programs.
