What you'll do

As the Senior Engineering Manager for Cloud Engineering at Mozilla, you will lead the Delivery Engineering team, focusing on enhancing the internal developer platform. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the modernization of the CI/CD system, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to improve deployment processes and reduce time to market.

You will manage and optimize Mozilla's cloud infrastructure costs, implementing FinOps practices that ensure transparency and accountability in resource usage. This includes developing strategies for labeling, metering, and showbacks of costs, allowing teams to understand their cloud expenditures better.

Your role will also involve setting the standard for observability across services — you will work closely with teams to ensure they adopt best practices in monitoring and incident management, ultimately improving service reliability and user experience.

In addition to technical leadership, you will mentor and develop your team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. You will conduct regular one-on-ones to support their professional development and help them navigate challenges in their projects.
