Saronic is seeking a Commissioning Software Engineer to support the integration and deployment of autonomous systems. You'll work with Java, C++, and Python to ensure reliable performance in maritime operations. This role requires hands-on experience with software and networking.
You have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in developing and deploying systems that require a high level of reliability. Your experience includes working with autonomous systems, and you are comfortable debugging and optimizing algorithms to enhance performance. You possess a solid understanding of networking principles and have hands-on experience with various programming languages, including Java, C++, and Python. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with production teams and regulatory partners to ensure that technology meets operational standards. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, especially in real-world scenarios where autonomous systems are deployed. You are passionate about maritime technology and are eager to contribute to advancements in autonomy at sea.
Experience with maritime operations or autonomous systems is a plus. Familiarity with sensor integration and control logic will be beneficial in this role. You may also have experience in field deployment and testing, which will enhance your ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems effectively.
