Overview

Google is seeking a Technical Lead in IP Design to drive the development of custom silicon solutions. You'll work with micro-architecture and coding in areas like memory compression and interconnects. This role requires 8 years of experience in relevant fields.

Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in micro-architecture and coding, you have a strong background in areas such as memory compression, interconnects, coherence, cache, DRAM controller, and PHYs. Your expertise includes working with Verilog or SystemVerilog language, and you have a solid understanding of various quality checks performed at the front end, including Lint, CDC/RDC, Synthesis, LEC, and more. A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, along with experience in performance design and multi-power domains with clocking. You are familiar with chip design flow and have knowledge of cross-domain interactions involving DV/DFT/Physical Design/software. Your experience in micro-architecture design equips you with the skills to develop optimized IPs.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Verification, Design for Test, Physical Design, and Software teams to make design decisions and represent project status throughout the development process. Your contributions will be critical in developing code for features in the IP/Subsystem, ensuring that the implementation aligns with the overall project goals.
