You have extensive experience in vehicle architecture and design, with a proven track record of leading complex projects from concept feasibility through to development. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative mobility solutions that prioritize user experience and safety. You are skilled in geometric development and modeling, ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about advancing autonomous driving technology.
Experience in the automotive industry or with OEM partnerships is a plus, as is familiarity with ergonomic interior design principles. You have a strong understanding of customer-focused design and can translate user needs into actionable development plans. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart.
In this role, you will take ownership of the entire vehicle architecture, leading the layout and packaging development for Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will work on concept feasibility during the early and advanced design stages, collaborating with peers to develop unique mobility package solutions tailored to an international customer base. Your leadership will guide the geometric development and modeling of vehicles, ensuring that all designs align with Waymo's mission to improve access to mobility and enhance safety on the roads.
You will partner with various teams, including engineering and design, to create ergonomic interior designs that meet the needs of diverse users. Your role will involve liaising with OEMs to ensure that all vehicle designs are feasible and meet industry standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the organization.
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $323,000 to $410,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
