Overview

Amazon is seeking a Channel Team Lead for their transportation team in Pune. You'll be responsible for account management, training, and driving operational performance. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

You have a proven track record in operations management, ideally within a logistics or retail environment. Your experience includes managing teams and driving performance metrics to achieve business goals. You are self-driven and possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with channel partners and internal teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess performance data and make informed decisions that benefit both Amazon and its partners.

Desirable

Experience in the e-commerce or delivery sector is a plus. Familiarity with performance management tools and techniques will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable with market mapping and have a knack for identifying potential retail stores for acquisition. Your ability to deliver training and coaching will be essential in onboarding new accounts effectively.

What you'll do

As a Channel Team Lead, you will oversee the operations at our Delivery Center, focusing on account identification and acquisition. You will be responsible for market mapping and the induction of new retail stores into the Amazon ecosystem. Your role will involve managing and driving the growth of channel partners, ensuring they meet their business objectives with Amazon. You will conduct regular field visits to maintain relationships and assess performance, providing insights and recommendations based on your observations.

Training is a key component of your responsibilities. You will deliver training sessions on Amazon processes, products, and operating models to ensure that all partners are aligned with our standards. You will work closely with the DC manager to support performance management initiatives and drive the operational plan to achieve defined goals.

Your reporting duties will include maintaining and publishing routine performance reports for the stores, analyzing data to identify trends, and proposing actionable plans to enhance performance. You will collaborate with various teams to enable network growth and support new product launches, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
