Amazon is hiring a Data Center Controls Engineer to manage and innovate building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems. You'll work with AWS infrastructure and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers. This role requires experience in project management and troubleshooting.
You have a strong background in engineering, particularly in data center operations and controls. You possess experience in project management and troubleshooting, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and effectively. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work seamlessly with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. You are committed to maintaining high standards for safety and security while innovating in the controls space. You understand the complexities of data center infrastructure, including power distribution and cooling systems, and are eager to develop new processes and standards.
Experience with building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) is a plus. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and its components will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous improvement will set you apart.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the building management system and electrical power monitoring system.
