Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Project Kuiper is looking for a talented individual to lead North America B2C Search Marketing. This role is responsible for developing the B2C performance marketing strategy, launching campaigns, and optimizing search performance across Google, Bing, and Amazon.com across the US, Canada, and Mexico. We are looking for someone data-driven with a relentless focus on delighting customers and improving return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is with deep expertise in technical SEO, SEM campaign management, and Amazon's onsite search algorithms. You will drive web site traffic, maximize gross adds, and improve the customer experience. You will test, build, automate, and scale search marketing initiatives. In this role, you will work with a range of technical and non-technical teams to build automated marketing technology, assess marketing capabilities, own the experimentation strategy, and undertake detailed performance analysis. The scope of this role focuses on delivering against key business goals, while also innovating and finding efficiencies through the development and management of a multi-year strategy and roadmap.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies including technical optimization, content development, and link building to increase organic search visibility for Project Kuiper's consumer offerings
* Own paid search campaigns across major platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) with multi-million dollar budget responsibility, focusing on maximizing ROAS while scaling customer acquisition
* Lead Amazon onsite search strategy, including optimization of product detail pages, search terms, and backend keywords to maximize visibility in Amazon's search results
* Build and maintain measurement frameworks to track SEO health metrics, paid search performance, and Amazon search ranking positions across key terms
* Design and execute A/B tests across search marketing channels to continuously improve CTR, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs
* Develop comprehensive keyword strategies across organic search, paid search, and Amazon's search ecosystem to capture high-intent customer queries
* Create scalable processes for search term expansion, negative keyword management, and bid optimization across search marketing channels
* Lead regular search performance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders on search visibility trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for improvement
* Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, paid search platform changes, and Amazon search ranking factors to maintain and improve search visibility

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- 10+ years of experience in performance marketing- * 10+ years of experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription service
- * Experience using SQL and analytics tools for conducting data analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
