Position Overview: The Part-Time Returns Specialist (20 hours expected, Monday through Friday, day shift) plays a crucial role in our warehouse operations, responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of product returns. This individual will be a key contributor to maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely resolution of return issues, and upholding Voomi's commitment to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
In charge of receiving deliveries of returns from our transportation carriers
Maintain tracking information on our in-transit returns
Utilize RF scanners for returns processing and WMS management
Handle return inspections including photo documentation and escalating patterns of recurring issues
Problem solve difficult orders using various supply chain systems
Speak to KPIs around productivity and processing defects
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Familiarity with returns and shipping/receiving operations with FedEx/UPS/USPS
Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Sheets) and Microsoft Excel
Basic math skills for accurate counting and inventory management.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a plus.
Previous experience with HVAC/plumbing/electrical supplies is a plus.
Regularly lift and move items weighing 70 lbs or more, and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
