SpaceX is hiring a Supervisor for IT Network Infrastructure to oversee technician teams in installing and maintaining mission-critical communication systems. You'll work with technologies like Cisco and Linux in Redmond, WA.
You have extensive experience in network infrastructure, particularly in supervising teams that install and maintain critical communication systems. Your background includes working with low voltage telecommunications and you are adept at troubleshooting cabling infrastructure systems. You understand the importance of prioritizing and scheduling work to meet project timelines, and you have a collaborative spirit that allows you to work effectively with engineers and other project teams. You are skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing network systems, ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Experience with mission-critical systems and a strong understanding of fiber and copper data network cabling infrastructure will set you apart. Familiarity with ground-side vehicle and payload interface systems, as well as telemetry and optical tracking systems, is a plus. You are also comfortable coordinating with contractors and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
In this role, you will supervise technician teams responsible for installing and maintaining mission-critical communication systems that support SpaceX's production and launch activities. You will prioritize and schedule work to meet required timelines, providing feedback and progress updates to project stakeholders.
