Overview

Gorgias is hiring a Sales Manager for their Commercial Expansion team to lead and coach a high-performing account management team. You'll drive expansion and renewals across a diverse book of business, focusing on deal execution and team performance.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, ideally with experience in managing account management teams. Your ability to inspire and coach others is evident, as you excel in deal execution and driving performance. You understand the nuances of commercial account management and are passionate about fostering a collaborative team environment. You believe in the power of conversations and are excited about the future of ecommerce through Conversational Commerce. You are committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of 6 Commercial Account Managers, each responsible for managing 100–120 accounts. Your primary focus will be on driving expansion and renewals, ensuring that your team consistently exceeds revenue targets. You will provide oversight at every stage of the sales process, from initial engagement to closing deals. Coaching and mentoring your team will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you help them develop their skills and achieve their goals. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for customers and to align on strategic initiatives that drive growth. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling the Commercial post-sales revenue motion, and you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Gorgias as a leader in Conversational Commerce.
