Google is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy AI solutions, focusing on Generative AI techniques. You'll work with cloud platforms and MLOps practices, requiring 5+ years of software development experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development across various programming languages. Your background includes 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and at least 1 year focused on software design and architecture. You possess 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging. Additionally, you have 1 year of experience with state-of-the-art Generative AI techniques, such as LLMs, Multi-Modal, and Large Vision Models, or related concepts like language modeling and computer vision.
You are familiar with developing and deploying AI solutions for enterprise applications and have a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and software architecture. Your experience includes working with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, and you are knowledgeable about MLOps practices. As a strategic thinker, you can translate complex technical concepts into business value, making you a valuable asset to any team.
Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or agent-based systems is a plus. You have a strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and are comfortable navigating the complexities of software architecture.
In this role, you will lead the charge in testing agentic systems for robustness, creating strategies to mitigate risks such as prompt injection and tool-use failures. You will build automated systems to continuously validate agent behavior, analyze interaction data, and generate key insights needed to enhance the intelligence and reliability of our agents. Your contributions will directly impact how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation technologies that extend beyond web search, ensuring that our products can handle information at massive scale. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust ML infrastructure that supports the deployment and evaluation of AI models, ensuring they meet the high standards expected at Google.
