Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Chicago to drive performance marketing strategies for large customers in the financial services sector. You'll leverage your expertise in digital advertising and consultative sales to build trusted relationships and deliver measurable results.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. Alternatively, you may have 6 years of experience with an advanced degree. Your background includes working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and you possess the ability to travel for client meetings and training as required. You excel at building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders. Your experience in performance marketing and ROI-driven media strategies enables you to focus on delivering measurable results. You have the ability to sell and propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers, and you are skilled at developing joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments. Your strategic and tactical thinking skills allow you to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive user acquisition and activation for Google’s advertising solutions, helping businesses of all shapes and sizes grow in today's dynamic marketing environment. You will proactively identify and cultivate a pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging insights and proven success to expand partnerships. You will demonstrate Google's value by measuring campaign results against customer objectives and sharing data-driven insights that shape customer strategies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that campaigns are optimized for success. You will also be expected to influence and collaborate across organizations to drive business success for both the customer and Google. Your ability to act like an owner and move with velocity through change will be crucial in finding innovative and strategic ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and your customers.
