Vestwell is seeking an Associate in Custody Operations to manage day-to-day processing and monitoring of plans on their platform. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide exceptional service to plan sponsors.
You are an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in financial technology and operations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to learn about custody operations and trust accounting systems. Your ability to handle complex operational issues with precision will be key to your success in this role. In this role, you will review incoming cash, wires, and checks that come onto our trust accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. You will process corrections on a plan and participant level daily, addressing any discrepancies that arise. Collaborating with sub-custodians, you will settle trades for mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. You will respond to a high volume of complex operational correctional issues, utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve them efficiently. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you monitor and manage the daily operations of custody services, contributing to the overall success of Vestwell's platform.
