You are a seasoned legal professional with over 10 years of experience in law or fair trade compliance, having obtained your legal qualifications in South Korea. You possess a rich understanding of South Korea's fair trade regulations and have a proven track record of finding creative legal solutions while working with regulatory bodies such as the Fair Trade Commission. You are proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment where business changes rapidly. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and business teams, fostering productive partnerships.

What you'll do

As the leader of the Fair Trade Compliance team at Coupang, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance programs related to various fair trade regulations, including the Large-Scale Distribution Business Act and the Fair Trade Act. You will analyze regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that Coupang's business practices align with legal requirements. Collaborating closely with the Legal and Public Policy teams, you will work to understand the intricacies of Coupang's business operations and provide tailored compliance guidance. Your role will involve continuous engagement with internal business partners to promote compliance awareness and best practices across the organization.
