What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the External Platform that supports Samsara's Connected Operations solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include designing system architecture, writing clean and maintainable code, and conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring that our platform remains reliable and performant.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our platform by proposing and implementing new technologies and practices that improve our development processes. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. Additionally, you will participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve team dynamics and project outcomes.
