Thumbtack is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting team. You'll be responsible for managing accounts payable activities and ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations. This role requires strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
You are a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You have experience in managing accounts payable activities and ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable working on a Pacific Standard Time (PST) schedule. You are motivated by the opportunity to make an impact and contribute to the success of the company.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and familiarity with accounting software would be beneficial. You are someone who enjoys collaborating with others and can effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.
In this role, you will be one of the primary point persons for all accounts payable activities for Thumbtack globally. You will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with other members of the Accounting team to maintain the integrity of the company's financial records. Your responsibilities will include performing the full cycle of accounts payable, from invoice processing to payment execution. You will also assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
