Overview

Instacart is seeking a Product Manager for Retailer Tools to drive innovation in grocery technology. You'll be responsible for building infrastructure for Caper Carts, collaborating with global retailers. This role requires experience in product management and a passion for retail technology.

You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in retail technology or related fields. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform your decisions and drive product success. You thrive in a flexible work environment and are comfortable working remotely while staying connected with your team. You are passionate about creating tools that enhance the retail experience for both customers and retailers.

Desirable

Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with user research techniques would be beneficial. A background in software development or a technical understanding of product development processes is a plus. What you'll do

As the Product Manager for Retailer Tools at Caper, you will lead the development of tools and systems that support the deployment and management of Caper Carts for global retailers. You will work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer needs and business goals. You will conduct user research to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring that the tools you develop meet the needs of retailers and enhance their operations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product roadmap, aligning it with the overall strategy of the Retailer Tools pillar. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. You will analyze product performance metrics to assess the success of your initiatives and make data-driven decisions for future enhancements. You will also participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate progress and align on priorities, fostering a collaborative environment.
